Description
This showy plant has lovely looking flowers and it belongs to Liliaceae family. This is a spring growing plant and it grows to a height of around 10 cm to 71 cm and it only contains one flower per stem.

Uses
It finds its relevance in various types of uses including making of Tulip oil, Tulip Poplar, Tulip Attar and Tulip absolute. All the parts of the plants are brought into use for various types of aroma and health therapies. The bark of the plant is used as a tonic and stimulant and it also cures arthritis, dysentery and rheumatism. Besides that it also cures fever, cough, indigestion and colds. Some other pertinent use of Tulip are in curing boils, bruises and sores and also helps expel worms from the body.
